LAST LAUGH- No Regrets (Suburban Noize Records) The first thing I noticed about this CD, was that they cover “Paint It Black” by the Stones. So I got a little excited and popped it in right away. I was not disappointed by this cover. The music a definitely different than the Stones, but it was good in its own way. A lot of this album sounds like cross-over 80’s metal, but more with a modern post-punk feel. Imagine if Bad Religion was trying to play their way through an Anthrax album and then throw in a little System of A Down. The guy’s voice leaves something to be desired, but the music is decent enough. All in all, I liked it but would definitely have to be in the mood for it. –Marie Andy
