JUNCTION 18- This Vicious Cycle (Fearless) (Band Site) E gads, I have absolutely no idea how to describe this disc by these fine Boston Lads.. To start with, I did like this cd. At a loss for words, I guess Junction 18’s music is best described as easy hardcore rock with emo/punk influences that is kicked into high gear by some great guitar work. All the songs are brilliantly composed, melodic, and quick paced, but soothing at the same time. I think the harmonic vocals and intense guitar playing toyed with my music bone and snapped it like a twig in a tornado. Truly conflicting and entertaining. “Granite Street Knife Fight” is as cool as it’s title. These guys would be a perfect guest band on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A lot of people will dig this one! – Denis Sheehan
